12 Branded Clusters
Each cluster groups the AVIAN patents that together implement one commercial capability, positioned within the thirteen-tier platform pipeline.
Foundational — Tiers 1, 3
AVIAN Airframe™
The engine itself — the knowledge space every other capability reads from and writes to. It is versioned, so platform upgrades never cost a learner their accumulated progress; replicated, so it scales without losing coherence; and quick to restore, so a node returns to full service in seconds rather than minutes. Every other cluster depends on the structural integrity Airframe provides.
AVIAN Crosswinds™
Cross-domain intelligence and content quality. Proficiency earned in one subject carries proportional credit into adjacent ones. A portfolio-wide index catches contradictions between courses, flags material that has gone out of date, and continuously audits the platform’s own quality gates — so accuracy problems surface in hours, before a learner ever encounters them.
Content — Tier 2
AVIAN Airspace™
The content factory. A subject-matter expert supplies a specification and the platform builds the course: structured knowledge, quality-scored, with assessment material in many formats generated from a single source of truth. Brand-new subjects bootstrap from nothing. An instructor can hand over a syllabus and get a matching course provisioned against it. Long build runs resume where they stopped instead of starting over.
Onboarding — Tier 4
AVIAN Preflight™
Entity onboarding. Credentials and prior experience place a new user at a realistic starting point; a short adaptive intake sharpens it; comparison against similar learners grounds it. Learners joining a course already in progress are placed where they actually belong rather than at lesson one, and can narrow a session to the single unit in front of them.
Instrumentation — Tiers 5, 7, 10, 11
AVIAN Avionics™
The instrumentation suite — every gauge the platform reads. Performance evidence from multiple sources, weighted by how much each source has earned trust. The approach behind a score, not just the score. Whether a learner is absorbed or overwhelmed. Whether an account is gaming the assessment. Why the platform recommended what it did. How a cohort is tracking, and who would teach whom well. Which question to ask next to resolve real uncertainty fastest. Recurring failure patterns cluster on their own, so content problems get found without anyone reading logs.
Planning — Tier 6
AVIAN Navigator™
Trajectory planning and readiness. The platform models where a learner is heading, plans the route with well-timed short interventions rather than marathon sessions, and forecasts pass probability with an honest confidence interval attached. Learners pursuing several credentials at once get one coordinated plan, with overlapping material credited once instead of studied twice.
Delivery — Tier 9
AVIAN FlightDeck™
The adaptive delivery surface. The platform chooses the activity format that genuinely suits the material, composes sessions against the real exam blueprint, and tunes how much detail to put on screen to the learner’s current state. Hands-on skills are verified against a live working environment instead of a multiple-choice proxy. Handwritten math and drawn diagrams are marked on the device. Sessions keep working with no connection and reconcile cleanly when one returns. Every activity has an accessible equivalent whose equivalence is verified rather than assumed.
AVIAN Copilot™
Conversational interaction. Learners ask questions in plain language; the answers double as evidence of what they do and don’t know, and the session adjusts as the conversation goes. Interview-style simulation assesses competency against the demands of an actual role.
AVIAN Contrail™
Response scoring. Written answers are marked idea by idea against the rubric, with every judgment traceable back to the source material rather than to an opaque overall score. On multi-stage case problems, the platform identifies where the learner’s reasoning first went off course — not merely that the final answer was wrong.
Governance — Tier 12
AVIAN Sentinel™
Governance and enforcement. A policy gate sits in front of every consequential action, applying jurisdictional, clearance, and safety-critical constraints, and recording each decision in an audit trail that cannot be rewritten after the fact. Assessment material is individually traceable, so anything that leaks can be attributed to where it came from.
AVIAN BlackBox™
Federated sovereignty. In a multi-node deployment, each institution’s learner data stays on its own node; only privacy-preserving aggregates cross the boundary, and only after the receiving node cryptographically proves it is what it claims to be. A learner can prove a mastery claim to an outside party without handing over their record — and those proofs lapse rather than standing forever.
Specialized — Tier 13
AVIAN Embodied™
Autonomous agent learning. The same adaptive machinery applied to physical skill acquisition for robotic and embodied agents: skills broken into trainable units, curricula rehearsed in simulation before real-world deployment, progress tracked from telemetry, and the whole loop held inside safety constraints.
Additional Platform Capabilities
Cross-cutting capabilities that operate across the cluster boundaries and span multiple architecture tiers.
